The differences between Omaha and Texas Hold ’em
The rules for Omaha are essentially the same as Texas hold’em – with hole cards being dealt to each player followed by a three-card community flop, then the turn followed by the river. Betting also follows the same format.
The big difference between Omaha and Texas hold’em is that in Omaha each player is dealt four hole cards rather than two. At the end of the hand, all players must then use any two of these hole cards along with any three of the community cards to make their best 5-card hand.
