Graphics

To get the most out of PKR you can change how it looks on your screen and optimize it for a range of PC set-ups. To change graphics settings, click on the ‘Options’ tab in the main menu and then click on the ‘Graphics’ tab that appears in the Options menu. Here you will see two tabs for ‘Screen’ and ‘Effects’.

Screen: Here you have two options to change the way PKR looks on your screen.

Play: Choose to play PKR in a window or full screen.

Effects: Use this window to control the quality of the graphics that appear. We recommend leaving these at default to enjoy the optimum PKR experience. If, however, your PC is struggling to cope with the demands of our next-generation poker software, reducing some of the graphics options can make a significant difference (for more information, please refer to the ‘Troubleshooting’ section of this user guide). You can return to PKR’s default settings at any time by clicking on the ‘Default settings’ button.

Sound

Use these controls to enhance or reduce PKR’s sound effects including player voices.

Master: This slider controls the total volume of the game.

Front-end Music: This slider controls the volume of the music in the lobby and options
screens.

Voices: Use this slider to control the volume of player voices in the game.

SFX: This slider controls the volume of in-game sound effects such as environment ambient
noise and game sounds such as chips clinking, cards being shuffled and so on.
